Job summary

Byron Shire Council is seeking Early Childhood Educators (Certified and Diploma qualified) to join Sandhills Early Childhood Centre in Byron Bay. The role is 4 days per week at an hourly rate of 31.95–37.02 AUD, plus a retention payment and generous staff benefits.

You will collaborate with a team to implement the daily program aligned with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework, and enjoy flexible working arrangements and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified or Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educator.
• Implement daily program in line with NQF and EYLF.
• Eligible for flexible working arrangements and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of educators to implement the daily program.
• Receive the retention payment – 15% of the base award rate.
• Be eligible for flexible working arrangements.
