The role offers casual hours with pay between $39.94/hour and $46.27/hour based on experience and qualifications, plus a federal retention payment of about $6/hour.

We are looking for:

Sandhills Early Childhood Centre is a council-operated 59-place centre in the heart of Byron Bay with natural and welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces abundant with trees, wildlife, garden beds, rockeries and grassed areas.

We are looking for a casual Early Childhood Educator's to assist in deliveringa nurturing, creative, engaging, and intentional program that enhances children’s learning and development, strengthens partnerships with families and aligns with the National Quality Framework. We have casual opportunities available - in particular from now until end 2026.

You will:

• work with a team of exceptional educators to implement the daily program in line with the National Quality Framework and early years learning framework
• receive the Federal Government’s early childhood worker retention payment (additional 10% of the base Children’s Services award rate)
• you will be paid between $39.94/hour and $46.27/hour (based on experience and qualifications) plus the worker retention payment of about $6/hour
