Harris Scarfe in Melbourne is seeking a Buyer's Assistant to support the buying team with data, promotions, and supplier liaison. This permanent role offers the chance to develop in a fast-paced retail buying environment.

You will analyze data in Excel and SAP, assist in catalog briefs, load promotions, and help optimise product content for our website and promotions across channels, while delivering accurate information to stores and online teams.

Formación

• Must have strong attention to detail with analytical skills.
• Experience in marketing or marketing support.
• Retail experience advantageous.
• Strong Excel skills and enjoy working with data.
• Team player with excellent time management and able to multitask.
• SAP experience would be ideal.

• Provide analytical and administrative support to the Buyer.
• Analyse and manage data using Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Assist in preparation or development of new products.
• Act as the primary contact for Master Data & ECommerce queries.
• Source and optimise product content for website and other promotional channels.
• Responsible for data updates, integrity and standardisation for buying team.
• Manage promotions in systems.
• Proof catalogues and provide marketing support.

About the Role:
This role is based around assisting the buyer complete and execute long and short-term strategies, assisting stores with a variety of queries and requests, and maintaining data, loading promotions, reporting, managing samples, liaising with suppliers, and assisting with briefing catalogues

About You:

• Prior experience within retail will be advantageous

• Previous experience with SAP would be ideal
• Work well within fast fast-paced environment and be adaptive to changes
