A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Services Manager to join a well-established accounting firm with a proud 60-year history. This firm has proven staff longevity. This role sits at the heart of the Business Services team.

Duties

• You’ll work closely alongside the Partners, gaining genuine exposure to decision‑making, clients and firm operations
• Reviewing the work of 2 others, as well as hands-on processing
• You will manage a high-quality client portfolio of approximately $600k in portfolio fees, with the opportunity to grow this to $1 m over time, supported by two/ three direct reports.
• This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role suited to someone who enjoys building long‑term relationships and mentoring staff.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of SME and family-group clients
• Deliver high-quality compliance and advisory services
• Act as a trusted advisor
• Ensure strong attention to detail across all work delivered
• Contribute to process improvement and team development

• Confident in managing clients directly
