Sims Richmond Pty Ltd is a Chartered Accounting and Business Advisory firm in the Adelaide CBD seeking an experienced Business Services Manager. You will lead client work across accounting, taxation, and advisory services while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience within a public practice accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of CGT, GST and Corporations Law.
• Experience across a variety of accounting software packages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude and professional approach.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and income tax returns.
• Prepare and lodgement of BAS and IAS.
• Provide taxation advice and business growth strategies.
• Financial modelling, forecasting, and budget preparation.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accountants.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide general accounting and taxation support as required.

About the Role

Working closely with clients across a broad range of industries, you will play a key role in delivering high quality

accounting, taxation, and advisory services while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns
• Preparation and lodgement of BAS and IAS
• Providing taxation advice and business growth strategies
• Financial modelling, forecasting, and budget preparation
• Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior accountants
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• General accounting and taxation support as required

About You

To be successful in this role we require a proactive and personable accounting professional who enjoys both technical work and client interaction. Previous experience in a public practice accounting firm is essential.
