Job summary

Bentleys SA/NT is a leading advisory and accounting firm in Adelaide. We are seeking a Supervisor to join our Business Services and Advisory team, overseeing client engagements, supervising staff, reviewing work, and delivering trusted advice across a diverse client portfolio.

Working with Managers and Partners, you’ll build leadership capability, mentor team members and contribute to client development. A pathway to Manager with ongoing professional development is provided.

Qualifications

• CA qualified (or nearing completion) with strong commitment to professional excellence.
• Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in Australian public practice.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing work and mentoring team members.
• Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and business advisory services.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
• Commercially minded and solutions-focused.
• Motivated to progress toward Manager and leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and build strong, trusted relationships.
• Review financial statements, income tax returns and compliance work across complex structures.
• Coordinate workflow, deadlines and resource allocation across engagements.
• Supervise, coach and develop accountants and senior accountants.
• Review work completed by team members and provide technical guidance.
• Support Managers and Partners in business development and client retention initiatives.
• Identify risks, opportunities and value‑added advisory outcomes for clients.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best‑practice processes.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Supervisor to join our Business Services and Advisory team. This role is ideal for an experienced Senior Accountant ready to take the next step into leadership or an existing Supervisor seeking greater opportunity and client exposure.

Working closely with Managers and Partners, you'll oversee client engagements, supervise team members, review work, and provide trusted advice to a diverse portfolio of clients across industries including agribusiness, manufacturing, transport, professional services and privately owned businesses.
