Job summary

Nagle College Blacktown South is seeking an experienced Business Manager (Level C) to lead the College’s financial and operational functions. This permanent full-time role supports finance, school fee management, procurement, contracts and facilities, reporting to CSPD leadership.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, develop financial procedures, manage budgets and ensure compliance with CSPD policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance, business operations or school administration.
• Strong financial management, budgeting and analytic capability.
• Experience supporting procurement, contracts and operational processes.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or business preferred.
• Willing to undergo background checks and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day business operations of the College and provide strategic and operational support across finance, school fee management, procurement, contracts and facilities.
• Provide guidance on school fee billing, collection and financial assistance processes.
• Analyse financial results and budgets, providing advice to support effective financial management.
• Support procurement processes and contract matters in collaboration with CSPD support teams.
• Work collaboratively on facilities planning, minor works and major capital projects.
• Support compliance with CSPD policies, procedures and financial requirements.
• Build effective working relationships with College staff, families, suppliers and CSPD stakeholders.
• Contribute positively to the Catholic identity, mission and culture of the College.

Qualifications & Accreditations

The successful candidate will:

• Bring relevant experience in finance, business operations or school administration.
• Demonstrate strong financial management, budgeting and analytical capability.
• Have experience supporting procurement, contracts and operational processes.
• Possess strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or business, ideally, although this is not mandatory.
• Be willing to undergo and satisfactorily complete financial background and reference checks.
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check.
