Job summary

About the Role

Corpus Christi College has the opportunity for a highly skilled professional with excellent leadership qualities to join our Executive Team as the Business Manager for the 2027 calendar year.

The Business Manager is a senior leader of the College and contributes to whole-of-College strategy, operational effectiveness, long-term sustainability and the stewardship of resources in support of the College’s mission. Providing strategic leadership, stewardship and operational oversight across the support functions of the College, the Business Manager ensures that financial, human, physical, digital and enterprise resources are aligned to the College’s mission, Strategic Plan, Improvement Plan priorities and future needs.

The Business Manager works closely with the Principal, Executive Leadership Team, College Advisory Council, CEWA, staff, families and external stakeholders to ensure strong governance, effective systems, financial sustainability, risk management, operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.

About You

We are seeking applications from experienced and strategic business leaders with strong financial acumen and a proven track record in managing complex operations. Holding a relevant tertiary qualification and CPA or CAANZ membership, applicants will bring expertise in financial management, governance, risk, compliance and capital planning. Applicants will be engaging and collaborative leaders who can build high-performing teams, foster a positive workplace culture and develop strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Highly organised and solutions-focused, applicants will be committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement, and support the Catholic ethos, mission and values of the College. Experience within education, the not-for-profit sector, or a Catholic school environment will be highly regarded.

Our ideal candidate will also be be eligible to obtain a current National Police Clearance and WWC clearance.
