Job summary

CoAct is seeking a Senior Data and Reporting Analyst to shape reporting strategy from a flexible, hybrid/remote setup in Australia. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.

You’ll lead design and development of reporting solutions, drive data quality assurance, and guide governance and controls as the organization transitions to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder engagement activities to gather, document and prioritise reporting, analytics and business intelligence requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to define business requirements, key performance indicators, metrics, business rules and reporting outcomes.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, business cases and reporting solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across CoAct’s transition from MODE reporting to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric-based reporting environments.

About the role

As a Senior Data and Reporting Analyst, you’ll provide senior technical expertise across reporting, analytics and business intelligence. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and project leads to design, develop and improve reporting solutions that support informed decision-making across the organisation.

You’ll lead stakeholder engagement, reporting design, data quality assurance and reporting transformation initiatives while helping establish sustainable reporting practices, governance and controls.
