Join Transgrid's Delivery Optimisation team as a Delivery Optimisation Business Analyst, where you'll play a key role in shaping how one of Australia's most critical infrastructure organisations uses data, systems and insights to improve operational performance.
This is a role designed to support a growing portfolio of strategic initiatives across our Delivery function. Working closely with operational leaders, workforce planning specialists, reporting experts and frontline teams, you'll uncover opportunities to improve processes, strengthen decision making and deliver meaningful business outcomes.
Far more than a traditional Business Analyst role, this position sits at the intersection of data, business improvement and stakeholder engagement. You'll leverage analytics, reporting and business insight to identify opportunities, influence decisions and help drive operational excellence across the organisation. Delivery is undertaking a significant program of optimisation, planning and reporting initiatives designed to improve how work is delivered across the business. As the Delivery Optimisation Business Analyst, you'll help create the insights and information that underpin smarter decision making, improved operational performance and stronger workforce planning outcomes.
Your work will directly support leaders in understanding where opportunities exist, what actions should be prioritised and how success can be measured. You'll also help increase the team's capacity to deliver strategic initiatives by providing the analytical expertise, reporting capability and business improvement focus needed to transform ideas into tangible outcomes.
Ultimately, this role exists to ensure that data becomes actionable insight, operational challenges become improvement opportunities and strategic initiatives translate into real business value
You're an analytical problem solver who enjoys understanding how organisations work and using data to drive better outcomes.
You may currently work as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data & Insights Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Workforce Analytics Analyst, Operational Business Analyst or in a similar role where data, stakeholders and business improvement come together.
Most importantly, you're curious, collaborative and motivated by helping people make better decisions through data and insight. Industry experience is valued, but we're far more interested in your ability to bring strong analytics capability, business acumen and a passion for continuous improvement
