Job summary

Mayo Hardware Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled BI Analyst to support the business intelligence team with data integrity, reporting, and dashboard maintenance. You will work with Qlik Sense, NPrinting, Salesforce, and SQL to deliver timely insights and data-driven improvements.

The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, handling ETL tasks, and performing regular admin duties across BI tools, with a focus on data quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a data-related or business intelligence support role (preferred)
• Exposure to BI tools, or data visualisation platforms, preferably Qlik solutions
• Knowledge of SQL or SOQL queries and database structures
• Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis tools)
• Exposure to ETL processes and data governance is a plus
• Familiarity with statistical programming, preferable Python

Responsibilities

• Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather business requirements and design reports.
• Assist in data extraction, transformation and loading from multiple sources, including internal and external systems using SQL and APIs, Excel spreadsheets and websites.
• Assist in the design, build, test, and deploy Qlik Sense apps and reports based on business requirements.
• Support in the design, build, test and schedule regular NPrinting reports based on the Qlik reports.
• Conduct Qlik Sense, NPrinting, and Salesforce regular admin tasks, such as create/update/delete users, reset passwords and MFA.
• Work with in-depth data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
• Assist in the monitoring systems health, gathering system statistics, and troubleshooting reported errors in the Qlik Sense and Salesforce environment.

Reporting directly to the BI Manager, the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the BI team by ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and efficient reporting processes. This position is responsible for assisting with database management, report generation, dashboard maintenance, system administration, and troubleshooting BI tools to ensure accurate and timely business insights.

This position will hold the following key responsibilities but are not limited to:

What We Seek:

1-2 years of experience in a data-related or business intelligence support role (preferred but not required).

Exposure to BI tools, or data visualisation platforms, preferably Qlik solutions.

Knowledge of SQL or SOQL queries and database structures.

Familiarity with Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis tools).

Exposure to ETL processes and data governance is a plus.

Familiarity with statistical programming, preferable Python.
