Job summary

Resources Group is partnering with a global research organisation expanding across Australia and APAC. We’re seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition in market research, insights and healthcare, and to reactivate dormant accounts.

You’ll hunt for opportunities, build relationships with agencies, consultancies and end clients, and collaboratively deliver tailored research solutions—from panels to fieldwork—while managing proposals and the sales pipeline.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business and developing long-term client relationships.
• Experience in market research or data/insights sectors is desirable.
• Experience with online panels or sample workflows is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Winning new business across market research, insights and healthcare.
• Building relationships with research agencies, consultancies and end clients.
• Re-engaging dormant accounts and uncovering new opportunities.
• Consulting with clients to understand their research needs and recommend tailored solutions.

Combining international scale with a highly respected local operation, they provide specialist fieldwork, respondent recruitment and panel solutions to leading research agencies, consultancies, healthcare organisations and blue-chip brands.

As the business continues to expand across Australia and the wider APAC region, they're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and help shape the next stage of their growth.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine hunter role with the autonomy to build your own territory while being backed by experienced project teams, dedicated marketing support and a respected global brand.

You'll introduce clients to a broad portfolio of research solutions spanning healthcare, consumer insights, participant recruitment, online panels and fieldwork services. Alongside winning new clients, you'll also have the opportunity to reactivate an established portfolio of dormant accounts, creating immediate commercial opportunities from day one.
