Business Development Manager (BDM) - Sales

DYNA Engineering is a leading Western Australian owned and operated conveyor component specialist. Based in Bayswater, WA, we design, manufacture, and supply high-quality conveyor equipment, components, and associated services to major resource and industrial operators across Australia and beyond.

We are seeking a driven, commercially focused Sales Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales growth, expand our footprint, and champion key product lines.

In this strategic and hands-on role, you will:

Drive Spares Growth: Proactively chase and secure spares, replacement, and refurbishment contracts across all previously executed projects.

On-Site Client Engagement: Maintain a regular presence on-site at key client accounts to build strong stakeholder relationships and identify site-level operational needs.

Product Champion: Lead market adoption and serve as DYNA's internal and external champion for our innovative High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) guarding solutions.

Field & Regional Travel: Travel regularly across Western Australia to mine sites, processing facilities, and engineering offices.

Major Account Targeting: Leverage your network with Tier-1 miners and EPC contractors to capture new capital and operational expenditure projects.

About You

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in technical sales, business development, or account management within the mining, bulk materials handling, or heavy industrial sectors.

Tier-1 & EPC Experience: Deep network and practical experience engaging with major mining companies and large EPC contractors.

Product & Site Expertise: Experience with conveyor components and a proven track record of on-site engagement.

Site Readiness: Willingness to travel to remote sites regularly and maintain standard site access clearances.

Strong Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
