The opportunity:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Kinetics' presence in the Australian resources market. Your primary responsibility will be to drive growth by identifying and cultivating new clients while nurturing existing relationships. You will collaborate closely with the wider team to develop winning proposals and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the sector.

You’ll be involved in:
  • Identify current and upcoming market opportunities in the Resources sector through strategic business development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team on proposals and tenders to maximize success rates.
  • Cultivate relationships with potential clients, arranging meetings to explore growth opportunities.
  • Conduct research to uncover new markets and enhance the value of existing customers.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to Executive General Managers to drive business development efforts.
  • Engage with current and potential customers at networking events and industry gatherings.
  • Regularly report pipeline activity and results to management.

  • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the Resources industry.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Integrity and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Self‑motivated with a positive attitude towards change.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and internal systems.
