Responsibilities

• Maintain regular contact with existing financial advisers and meet retention objectives.
• Demonstrate the positive impact of income strategies using Challenger tools and calculators.
• Provide advisers with administration assistance and implementation support.
• Build relationships with new groups of financial advisers and offices.
• Provide phone and web-based training on Challenger's quoting and calculator platforms.
• Support advisers and the distribution team in resolving product queries.
• Track and report funds flow from Challenger product sales.

Business Development Associate | 9 Month Contract | Queensland

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and customer-focused individual to join our team on a 9-month contract, based in Queensland (Sydney will also be considered).

Working alongside our Business Development Managers in supporting a panel of advisers, you will be part of one of the most well-respected Distribution teams in the country and will play an instrumental role in driving sales of Challenger Retirement & Wealth solutions. We pride ourselves on truly partnering with advisers, practices, and licensees to enhance client retirement and portfolio outcomes.

The role is responsible for:

• Maintaining regular contact with existing supporters (financial advisers) of Challenger solutions and meeting business retention objectives.
• Utilising Challenger's tools and calculators to demonstrate the positive impacts of various income strategies on real-life client scenarios.
• Providing advisers and their support staff with administration assistance and business implementation support.
• With the direction and support of Business Development Managers, building new relationships with specific groups of financial advisers and offices.
• Providing phone and web-based training to advisers and support staff on Challenger's quoting and calculator platforms.
• Supporting advisers and the broader Distribution team in the resolution of Challenger product queries.
• Tracking and reporting of funds flow from Challenger product sales activities.

Role Requirements:

• Relevant financial markets and product exposure.
• Sales / Customer Service / Administration experience within the financial services industry.
• Customer Service Skills and Orientation, i.e., demonstrating behaviours that focus effort on delivering to the internal and external customer; working with customers to better understand and anticipate their needs and being able to handle complaints in a satisfactory manner.
• Communication Skills: able to convey information clearly, accurately, and succinctly, and to express ideas clearly and concisely using appropriate structure, correct grammar, and consistent language/terminology.
• General Financial Advice (RG146) in the following areas: Managed Investments, Superannuation, Life Insurance, Securities and Derivatives.
