Job summary

IQ Group Australia is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with superannuation advice experience to join our Melbourne and Sydney teams. You will help deliver technology and business transformation initiatives across complex programs, enhancing advice processes and member experiences.

You’ll work with business SMEs, technology teams and external vendors to capture requirements, map processes and translate needs into practical solutions, supporting improvements across advice operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the superannuation industry.
• Hands-on experience with superannuation advice processes and related platforms.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and management skills.
• Experience mapping current and future-state processes and translating needs into solutions.

Responsibilities

Business Analysts – Superannuation / Advice

Location: Sydney or Melbourne

We’re looking for experienced Business Analysts with superannuation advice experience to join our team in Melbourne and play a key role in delivering technology and business transformation initiatives for our clients.

This is an opportunity to work across complex transformation programs, helping improve advice processes, enhance technology platforms and deliver better experiences for members and advisers.

What you’ll be working on

• Advice Process Transformation: Analyse and improve end-to-end superannuation advice processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Technology & Platform Enhancements: Work with business and technology teams to enhance advice-related systems, platforms and digital capabilities.
• Requirements & Business Analysis: Engage with stakeholders to gather, document and validate business requirements, map current and future-state processes, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with advice teams, business SMEs, technology teams and external vendors to support solution design, delivery and implementation.
• Process Improvement: Identify pain points across advice operations and recommend improvements that support better business outcomes and member experiences.

What we’re looking for

You’ll bring strong business analysis capability, superannuation industry knowledge and experience working across advice-related initiatives, including:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the superannuation industry.
• Hands-on experience with superannuation advice processes, ideally covering advice delivery, advice operations or supporting technology platforms.
• Strong requirements elicitation, documentation and management skills.
• Experience developing business process maps, user stories, functional requirements and supporting solution design.
• The ability to work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• A pragmatic, analytical approach, with the ability to navigate complex environments and translate business challenges into clear, actionable requirements.
