Job summary

Hitech Group in Canberra is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major procurement-readiness and business systems modernisation program. You will lead development and validation of complex requirements across business architecture, service design, integration and digital transformation.

The successful candidate will work on a long-term contract until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension, based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Business Analyst to support a major procurement-readiness and business systems modernisation program. You will lead the development and validation of complex requirements while working across business architecture, service design, integration and digital transformation. The successful Business Analyst will be offered a contract until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension, based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Lead current-state and future-state analysis and process modelling.
• Elicit, document and validate complex business and system requirements.
• Develop procurement-ready Statements of Requirements and traceability artefacts.
• Facilitate workshops and engage business, technical and project stakeholders.

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Complex ICT, digital transformation or business systems modernisation.
• Requirements elicitation, capability analysis and process modelling.
• Enterprise SaaS, digital services or technology procurement initiatives.
• Regulatory, revenue, taxation, finance or compliance environments.
