Job summary

Compas Pty Ltd is a Canberra-based Australian-owned recruitment and services company providing permanent, contract and temporary recruitment services and consulting assignments. We are seeking a Business Analyst / Project Support Officer to support requirements analysis, business process activities and project governance within a complex ICT delivery environment.

Location: Canberra/Sydney/Brisbane/Hobart/Coffs Harbour. Full-time role with flexible arrangements to be negotiated with the Director.

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements analysis and traceability.
• Experience supporting project governance, reporting and assurance activities.
• Clear written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with Agile, PRINCE2 or P3, or digital health, interoperability or government ICT environments, is desirable.

• Support business process analysis, impact assessments, testing and business validation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, governance artefacts and project documentation.

Business Analyst / Project Support Officer | Project Governance

Support requirements analysis, business process activities and project governance within a complex ICT delivery environment, contributing to planning, reporting, assurance and stakeholder coordination through to June 2027.

Location: Canberra / Sydney / Brisbane / Hobart / Coffs Harbour

Work Arrangement: Full time. Flexible work arrangements to be negotiated with the Director.

Contract Duration: ASAP to June 2027

Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline

Essential Tasks

• Undertake requirements analysis and maintain comprehensive requirements tracking.
• Support business process analysis, impact assessments, testing and business validation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, governance artefacts and project documentation.
• Prepare reporting and executive briefs, coordinate governance forums and maintain project registers.
