Bluefin Resources is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading Australian financial services and investment banking firm in Sydney on a 12-month day-rate contract with hybrid working.

With around 5 years’ Business Analysis experience, you’ll work across a range of high-profile initiatives, delivering outcomes and expanding your skill set through potential project management responsibilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Analyst to join a leading Australian financial services and investment banking firm.

• 12 month day rate contract
• Sydney based - Hybrid Working
• Potential to go permanent

With around 5 years’ Business Analysis experience, you’ll play a key role across a diverse portfolio of initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to deliver business outcomes in a fast-paced financial services environment. This is more than a traditional BA role. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a range of high-profile initiatives, while also taking on project management responsibilities and expanding your skill set. You could find yourself working across initiatives including:

• Regulatory and compliance-driven change
• Initiatives across Equities and Fixed Income
• New product development and implementation
• Acquisitions and integration
• Business and technology transformation projects

About You

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with approximately 5 years’ experience, ideally gained within financial services, investment banking, markets or a similarly complex environment.

You’ll bring:

• Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working across complex projects and change initiatives
• The ability to understand business requirements and translate them into clear outcomes
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, delivery-focused approach
• An interest in taking on project management responsibilities and broadening your remit
