Northern Star Resources Limited invites applications for Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst at the Subiaco Corporate Office in Western Australia. You will support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and reporting across operations, partnering with finance and operational stakeholders.

You will drive planning improvements, deliver insights, and support Anaplan adoption, with a CA/CPA-qualified background, strong Excel skills and experience in mining.

Qualifications

• Finance and business planning experience, preferably within the mining/resources sector.
• CA/CPA qualification with strong Excel skills and exposure to Pronto, Anaplan or similar planning systems.
• Degree qualification with CA/CPA credentials and a current WA C-Class Driver's Licence, supported by relevant professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning and financial analysis across Northern Star's operations.
• Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis and decision-making.
• Analyse operational and financial performance, providing insights into key business drivers and budget variances.
• Prepare reports, presentations and ad hoc analysis to support site leadership, management and Board reporting requirements.
• Partner with site and corporate stakeholders to deliver accurate planning outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support the implementation, optimisation and ongoing maintenance of Anaplan, including testing, validation, training and user support.
• Build strong relationships across finance and operations teams while contributing to a safe, productive and collaborative working environment, with occasional site travel as required.

Northern Star Resources has exciting opportunities for both a Senior Business Analyst and Business Analyst to join our team at the Subiaco Corporate Office on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday. Reporting to the Senior Planning Analyst, these roles support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, reporting and business planning activities across Northern Star's operations. Working closely with finance and operational stakeholders, you will contribute to planning improvements, deliver meaningful business insights, and support the ongoing implementation, optimisation and adoption of Anaplan.

To thrive in this role, you will need.

Experience: Demonstrated experience in finance and business planning, preferably within the mining/resources sector, with a CA/CPA qualification, strong Excel skills, and exposure to Pronto, Anaplan or similar planning systems.

Qualifications: Degree qualified with CA/CPA (or equivalent) credentials and a current WA C-Class Driver's Licence, supported by relevant professional experience.
