Job summary

Talent International is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join a higher education client on an initial 12-month contract. You will own complex problems, translate needs into clear requirements, and drive analysis from discovery through implementation.

Working with stakeholders, architects, developers and technology teams, you'll document requirements, map processes, and present recommendations to senior stakeholders. Strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated BA experience within large or complex organisations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently through unclear or evolving requirements.
• Experience translating business needs into functional, non-functional, technical and integration specifications.
• Strong process mapping skills, including BPMN.
• Confident stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and written communication.
• Experience supporting projects from discovery through to implementation.
• BA qualifications, BPMN certification, Jira/Confluence, Agile or hybrid delivery and formal ICT governance experience will be highly regarded.

We're looking for someone who can take ownership of complex business problems, work confidently through ambiguity and translate business needs into clear requirements and practical solutions.

About the role

Working closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers and technology teams, you will lead analysis across the project lifecycle. This includes defining problems and scope, assessing solution options, documenting requirements and supporting successful implementation.

The client places a strong emphasis on critical thinking, initiative and sound judgement. You'll need to confidently challenge assumptions, identify what needs investigating and communicate clear recommendations to different audiences.

Selection process
