City of Monash is seeking a Bushland & Wetlands Officer to protect and enhance natural reserve areas. You will maintain bushland and revegetation sites, monitor flora and fauna, and support community events and education.

The role requires a Diploma in Natural Resource Management or equivalent, Victorian driver's licence, and relevant certifications. Based in Notting Hill with flexible development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Natural Resource Management or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Current Victorian Drivers Licence.
• ACUP or Farm Chemicals Users Certificate.
• Pre-employment Medical Assessment.
• Working with Children’s Check.
• National Police Check.

Responsabilités

• Revegetation and indigenous garden bed maintenance.
• Riparian and wetland maintenance.
• Remnant maintenance.
• Indigenous planting and seedbank programs.
• Fuel reduction in accordance with fire preparedness programs.
• Monitoring, protecting, and enhancing flora and fauna values.
• Assist in community engagement and education through events and activities.
