Ecosure is seeking Bush Regenerator Team Members for the Sunshine Coast region. Join a growing team to work on ecological restoration projects, restoring high biodiversity areas and contributing to meaningful outcomes.

We offer flexible full-time, part-time, and casual opportunities. Successful candidates must be able to travel to remote work sites and undertake occasional away trips, with a focus on field teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to remote and rugged locations.
• Exposure to weed control techniques and herbicides.
• Knowledge of native plants and safe handling of tools/equipment.
• High level of physical fitness for fieldwork.
• Open Driver's Licence (4WD experience an advantage).

Responsibilities

• Carry out bush regeneration activities, including weed removal in bushland and grassland areas.
• Use a variety of weed control techniques, including herbicides.
• Apply a range of ecological restoration approaches and know when to use each technique.
• Assist in planting native species and participating in revegetation programs.
• Safely handle tools and heavy equipment and follow safety guidelines.
• Communicate clearly using mobile phone or email for work communications.

Please note: This role includes regular Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) work, overnight stays, and work at remote project sites. Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required is an essential part of the position. If you are unable to undertake DIDO work or overnight site-based work, this role is unlikely to be the right fit for you.

About the Role

We have some great ecological restoration projects that are both large scale and long term and so we are seeking Bush Regenerators in the Sunshine Coast Region.

Multiple flexible full-time, part-time & casual opportunities available.

Successful candidates must be available to travel and undertake work on occasional away trips.

As a Bush Regenerator Team Member, you’ll be a collaborative and reliable part of our field team, working on hands‑on projects to restore and maintain high biodiversity areas.

This role often requires you to travel to remote and rugged work locations, where your contributions will help protect and regenerate natural ecosystems.

Requirements

• A collaborative and reliable team member with a passion for ecological restoration.
• Willingness and ability to travel at times to remote and rugged locations.
• Exposure to applying weed control techniques and moderate experience with herbicides.
• Knowledge of native plants, weeds, and the safe use of tools and equipment.
• High level of physical fitness and ability to handle the demands of fieldwork.
• Open Driver's Licence (4WD experience an advantage).
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork.

Desirable Certifications

• First Aid/CPR.
• Chainsaw ticket.
• Chemcert or ACDC certification.
