NSW Rural Fire Service – District Park NSW is seeking a Risk Planning Coordinator to lead Bush Fire Risk Management Plans in the Hunter region. You will coordinate teams and collaborate with councils, emergency services and volunteers to reduce risk and protect communities.

You will bridge strategy and on‑the‑ground actions, delivering hazard reduction programs in high-risk areas while developing leadership and strategic planning skills within a respected emergency service.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bush fire risk mitigation planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of Bush Fire Risk Management Plans across Hunter region.
• Coordinate work of Area Risk Planning and Fire Trails Officers.
• Engage with councils, emergency services and volunteers to reduce risk.
