Job summary

Transdev John Holland Buses – Bondi Junction NSW is seeking a skilled Body Repairer / Panel Beater. You will repair, maintain and refurbish our buses to meet safety and presentation standards within a busy depot environment.

The role offers an annual salary of $103,464.48 (including superannuation) plus shift allowances and overtime, with a 5-week annual leave entitlement and a free Opal card for work and personal travel.

Qualifications

• Current NSW MVTC Body Repairer Trade Certificate (or equivalent).
• HR Licence or ability to obtain HR Licence.
• Experience in vehicle body repairs, panel beating and painting.
• Experience supervising or assisting with training of apprentices and trade assistants.
• Experience in bus maintenance or public transport operations is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair metal bus bodies using hand and power tools.
• Complete accident repairs and fleet refurbishment.
• Paint components and interior refurbishment.
• Record accurate maintenance and repair information.
• Support apprentices and trade assistants' training.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient workshop environment.
