Job summary

Guppy’s Early Learning Centre in Beerwah is seeking a part-time Cook and Bus Driver to support our team of early learning professionals. You will assist across rooms, drive the centre bus on a daily schedule, and prepare nutritious meals for children.

Applicants should have a Blue Card and current First Aid/CPR/Asthma qualifications or be willing to obtain them. Excellent communication and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist across rooms and support qualified early learning professionals
• Operate the centre bus to pick-up and drop-off children (automatic transmission)

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable cook and bus driver who wantsto join our supportive team at our Beerwah centre. In this role, you will assist across all rooms and drive our automatic transmission bus to pick-up and drop-off children each morning and afternoon. You will also provide nutritious meals for the children in our centre. You will work within our team ofqualified early learning professionals to providehigh-quality care for children, promote their learning and help them to develop key skills for the future.

This is a part-timeposition and applicants need to be willing to learn and contribute to a caring, play-based environment.

Skills and Experience

• Current Blue Card
• Current (or ability to obtain) First Aid, CPR & Asthma qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environmentFood preparation and cooking experience is preferred but not required
