Job summary

Southern Downs Regional Council in Warwick (QLD) seeks a Built Environment Officer to support the Built Environment Team with administration of building, plumbing and drainage applications and to help implement procedures and legislation.

You will undertake preliminary assessment of applications to determine if they are properly made, issue notices where required, and contribute to efficient regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
• A Class C licence or higher is required.
• White Card or ability to obtain.
• Experience with development assessment processes and administrative tasks.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation.
• Highly skilled with computers and software/tools.
