Job summary

You will interpret the Building Act, Regulations, NCC and Australian Standards to drive safe, compliant outcomes in a dynamic environment.

You will analyse building records, prepare supporting documentation for enforcement actions, and contribute to the overall compliance strategy.

• Analyse data on the building records and prepare documentation to support the enforcement strategy for contraventions of the Building Act and Regulations.

Primary Objective:

Provide technical advice and reports on the interpretation of the relevant legislation, National Construction Code and Australian Standards with regards to specific building compliance issues to achieve a reasonable level of structural, fire, safety, health and amenity. Analyse data on the building records and prepare documentation to support the enforcement strategy for contraventions of the Building Act and Regulations.
