Job summary

Jensen Hughes is seeking a Building Surveyor to join our Code and Building Compliance team across Australia and New Zealand. You will assess building designs against NCC/BCA provisions for various classifications and prepare compliance reports for clients.

The role offers opportunities to lead projects, develop junior surveyors, and progress to leadership positions within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Post graduate qualification in Building Surveying or a similar stream.
• Current registration as Level 1 or Level 2 building surveyor.
• Knowledge of the performance requirements of the BCA.

Responsibilities

• Help assess building designs against the provisions of the NCC/BCA for a range of building classifications.
• Liaise with clients and prepare NCC/BCA compliance reports.
• Collaborate with clients to upgrade fire safety measures.
• Enjoy site visits to view progression and completion of large projects.
• Help prepare Performance Solution Design reports for non-fire performance solutions.
• Opportunity to lead a team and develop junior building surveyors.
• Strong enthusiasm for business development will be highly regarded.
