Job summary

Define Talent is seeking a Site Supervisor in Queensland to manage up to 10 custom home builds from site start through handover, coordinating trades and ensuring on-time delivery. You will liaise with clients, monitor quality and safety across sites, and work closely with the Construction Manager to keep projects progressing.

Must have 5+ years in volume new home construction, QBCC Site Supervisor Licence, and carpentry trade qualification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Site Supervisor in volume new home construction.
• Custom home experience essential.
• QBCC Site Supervisor Licence required.
• Trade qualification, ideally Carpentry.
• Strong planning, scheduling and communication skills.
• High attention to detail with a genuine focus on quality.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with trades and suppliers.

What you'll be doing

• Manage up to 10 custom home builds from site start through to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities to keep projects on schedule.
• Monitor quality, safety and compliance across all sites.
• Liaise with clients throughout the build process.
• Work closely with the Construction Manager and internal office team to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Maintain construction schedules.
• Resolve site issues quickly to minimise delays and maintain build quality.
• Be prepared for early starts and 10-hour days. Construction doesn't operate on office hours, and you'll need to be available to coordinate trades, respond to site issues and keep projects progressing.
