Job summary

Laing O’Rourke seeks a Services Manager for Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast to lead building services delivery on major infrastructure projects. You will coordinate MEP design, construction integration, and stakeholder engagement from planning through completion.

The role requires a proactive leader with strong communication, safety, quality, and program delivery focus, driving collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors to achieve project success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing building services delivery across major construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, fire and hydraulic systems and their integration.
• Skilled at building collaborative relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes.
• A proactive leader with excellent communication skills and a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and delivery of building services & utilities across major infrastructure projects.
• Manage MEP design, construction integration and stakeholder engagement from planning through to completion.
• Drive safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes while mitigating project risks.
• Work closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and delivery teams to optimise project performance.
• Preparation and management of commissioning strategy.

About the role

We are currently seeking a Services Manager for Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.
