Job summary

BAI Communications in Sydney, NSW, AU, seeks a Building Services Engineer to manage and deliver building services infrastructure across its national network. You will provide specialist HVAC, fire services and building fabric expertise for critical facilities, collaborating with project managers, field teams and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Mechanical, Building Services or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering building services projects in mission-critical, broadcast, utilities or data centre environments.
  • Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards for HVAC and fire services.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC design, commissioning and performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and building performance modelling tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, specify and review HVAC, fire services and building services infrastructure for critical facilities.
  • Provide engineering support across the project lifecycle from concept to handover.
  • Lead commissioning, testing and acceptance activities.
  • Engage with contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and regulatory requirements.
