Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Sydney is seeking an experienced Scheduler/Planner to provide scheduling services across diverse Building projects and to conduct pre-baseline reviews of contractor programmes to ensure contractual and industry standards are met. You will prepare progress updates, highlight risks, and recommend corrective actions or accelerated programmes for major delays.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Building or Project Management or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scheduler/Planner on Building projects, Data Center projects desirable.
• Proficient in MS Project and Primavera P6.
• On-site construction experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end construction processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduling services across diverse Building projects.
• Conduct Pre-baseline reviews of contractor's programmes to check adherence to contractual requirements and scheduling practices.
• Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to the clients.
• Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programmes for major delays.
• Conduct delay analysis and assist the Senior Scheduler in delay claims management.
• Arrange meetings with client-side stakeholders to understand inputs and deliverables and create an Integrated Master Schedule linked to the Main Contractor's programme.
