Job summary

North Metropolitan TAFE is seeking an experienced Lecturer in Building and Construction to deliver high-quality training and assessment for building qualifications. A 12-month appointment pool is established, with the possibility of permanent, fixed-term, full-time, part-time or casual appointments.

Applicants should have a Diploma of Building and Construction, 5+ years of industry experience, and current industry engagement.

Qualifications

• Hold an Australian or equivalent qualification in Diploma of Building and Construction.
• 5+ years industry experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods, NCC, standards, WHS, and best practice.
• Current industry engagement and commitment to maintaining contemporary skills and knowledge.
• Have a TA...E/TAESS… or equivalent Assessor Skill Set in line with Registration Standards 2025.
