Job summary

TAFE SA seeks a Lecturer to deliver training, assessment and guidance in painting and decorating at the Tonsley campus. The role focuses on providing high-quality educational services aligned with training package objectives and may include industry consultancy.

Requirements include 5+ years of relevant industry experience, Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, and progress toward TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. WWCC is mandatory.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum relevant industry experience post trade in the painting and decorating industry.
• Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent.
• Completed or working towards completion of TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or later.
• Painting and Decorating skills and knowledge from an industry perspective.
• WWCC is required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a quality educational service of training and assessment to students as per program objectives.
• Deliver guidance to students and contribute to consultancy with industry partners as needed.
