Job summary

BPC is seeking a Building Auditor in Melbourne's CBD to perform audits, inspections, and reporting under the Building Act and National Construction Code. The role supports the Team Leader in ensuring operational accuracy and regulatory compliance, with a focus on desktop audits and stakeholder communication.

Ideal candidates will deliver detailed technical reports, advise on actions for internal/external stakeholders, and contribute to program improvements while working in a flexible environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct and document audits and site inspections, assess documentation, and prepare timely, detailed technical reports for the Building Audit Program.
• Provide expert technical advice, support legal proceedings, and recommend actions to internal and external stakeholders in line with legislative requirements.
• Support quality assurance and continuous improvement by maintaining compliance knowledge, refining processes, and contributing to program enhancements.
