Job summary

Ellerslie Farms Group is seeking a trade-qualified carpenter to join our agricultural operations at Millmerran, Queensland. You will work as part of a small team, performing carpentry tasks across a range of farm and construction projects in a rural environment.

The role requires a Cert III Carpentry, a valid driver’s license, and a strong focus on safety, reliability and teamwork. Biosecurity compliance and accurate documentation are essential to daily duties.

About The Role ...

Applicants should be trade qualified with a demonstrated knowledge and skill required for an agricultural working environment, proactive fault-finding ethic, with a solution finding focus. An excellent work ethic and be committed to their trade. Must be honest and reliable, as well as have the capacity for accuracy and attention to detail.

About You ...

Essential requirements of the role:

• Drivers Licence
• Construction Card (Blue or White)
• Cert III Carpentry

You Will Need To Have

• High-level of demonstrated commercial construction knowledge;
• Have a "can do" attitude by working cooperatively and efficiently to meet daily requirements;
• Be accountable for the work completed;
• A demonstrated understanding of the importance of teamwork;
• Good attention to detail;
• Self-motivated and driven attitude;
• Ideally, you will have some basic mechanically knowledge and the ability to adequately inspect and troubleshoot any vehicle or equipment provided for your use;
• Reliable transport.

What else do I need?

• Excellent communication skills along with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and trades;
• A passion for Agriculture and a genuine interest in working in a rural area;
• Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills;
• A valid driver’s license and your own transport;
• Sound physical fitness, with the ability to work in dirty or dusty environments, work at heights, work in confined spaces, or work outside in all types of weather.
