Job summary

Ellerslie Farms in Millmerran, QLD seeks a dedicated Warehouse Operator to join our FMCG team. You will roster on-site with the existing team across a 7 days per week, 365 days per year schedule, handling loading, palletising and general warehouse duties.

We value efficiency, accuracy and safe work practices; a forklift licence and LF experience are essential. Candidates should be reliable with good communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG warehousing preferred.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Must have a current Forklift Licence and LF experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with the existing team to participate in on-site roster, 7 days per week, 365 days per year.
• Work in various areas of the FMCG warehouse.
• Communicate effectively with Production to ensure efficient supply chain processes.
• Load trucks and consolidate loads.
• Perform general warehouse duties including palletising.
• Work safely and in accordance with SOPs and work practices.
• Minimise waste and maximise productivity.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
• Participate in training to maintain high skill levels and knowledge.
• Understand and comply with WHS, quarantine and bio-security standards.

About the Role ...

You will be required to have an attention to detail, efficient time management and effective communication. Immediate start, with an opportunity for permanency, for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your duties for this role will include:

• Working with the existing team to participate in the on-site roster, 7 days per week, 365 days per year;
• Working in various areas of the FMCG warehouse;
• Effective communication withProduction to ensure efficient supply chain processes;
• Loading trucks and consolidating loads;
• General warehouse duties including palletising;
• Perform all tasks safely and efficiently, and in accordance with established work practices and SOP's;
• Ensure all processes minimise waste and maximise productivity;
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment;
• Participate in the training provided to ensure a high level of skill and knowledge of the tasks required;
• Understand and comply with all workplace health and safety, quarantine and bio-security standards.

About You ...

You will:

• Have a current Forklift License.
• Have a minimum 2 years experience in an FMCG warehouse environment using LF;
• Demonstrate basic computer skills;
• Have a "can do" attitude by working cooperatively and efficiently to meet daily production requirements;
• Be accountable for the work completed;
• Thrive in a busy and bustling work environment with strict deadlines;
• Demonstrate effective communication skills;
• Have an attention to detail to complete tasks in accordance with established policies, procedures and standard operating procedures.

What else do I need?

• Sufficient literacy and numeracy skills;
• Reliable transport;
• Sound physical fitness, with the ability to work extended shifts in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment.

Candidates must be willing to adhere to strict bio-security requirements, which include not keeping livebirds, chickens or pigs at home. You must be willing to sign our bio-security agreement to avoid contact with any avian species (birds, chickens, ducks, turkeys, etc.).
