Job summary

Green By Nature Au in Victoria is seeking a permanent full-time grounds maintenance specialist to support the brushcutting team across Dandenong Council areas. The role covers brushcutting, some herbicide application, routine equipment maintenance, and working outdoors in varying weather.

You will operate machinery safely, follow safety protocols, and contribute to high-quality green spaces with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Experience in landscaping, gardening, or related field.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Must have a valid Manual Drivers licence.
• Have a National Police Check & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and sun.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.

About Role

As a member of the Brushcutting team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across the Dandenong Council, working onvarious commercial sites or council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

• Servicing of council parkland and roadside assets across Nillumbik Shire Council

About You

• Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field will be looked upon favourably.
