Simple Bliss Coffee in Forest Lake, Brisbane, seeks an experienced Cook for a permanent, full-time role. You will prepare café-style breakfast, brunch and lunch, maintaining high standards of taste, portion control and presentation while working closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cook in a café, breakfast or brunch setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy services.
• Knowledge of food safety and safe handling practices.
• Willingness to work weekends and early mornings.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, cook and present a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes in accordance with our café menu and recipes.
• Ensure all meals are prepared consistently, maintaining high standards of taste, quality, portion control and presentation.
• Check ingredients for freshness, quality and suitability before use.
• Operate and monitor kitchen equipment, including grills, ovens and other cooking appliances.
• Prepare ingredients and complete daily food preparation to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
• Accommodate dietary requirements and preferences as needed.
• Maintain food storage, stock rotation and temperature controls per food safety rules.
• Assist with menu planning, seasonal specials and new dishes.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic kitchen and help train junior staff.
