Job summary

Inghams Enterprises Pty Ltd in Southeast Queensland is seeking a Broiler Manager to lead the Broiler Service team and oversee contract farms across SE QLD. You will work with farm managers to support day-to-day operations, ensure safety, welfare and high performance in production.

Relocation package may be offered and a company vehicle is included. Night/early shift flexibility is required, with a focus on animal welfare and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' poultry experience, preferably in broiler servicing.
• Experience managing multiple farms and leading teams.
• Experience in transport and logistics with COR compliance.
• Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of broiler welfare and legislative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support and guide the Broiler Service team across SE Queensland.
• Lead, coach and mentor the Broiler Service team to high performance.
• Partner with contract growers to improve growth, health, welfare and feed conversion.
• Monitor daily operations and ensure humane treatment and compliance.
• Oversee catching and transport operations to ensure timely live bird supply.
• Manage logistics contracts and liaise with live haul contractors.
• Ensure animal welfare, quality and safety during pickup, transport and lairage.
