Job summary

Carter Wellington Global Recruitment Group seeks experienced Sonographers for a diagnostic imaging provider in Melbourne’s north-west. You will perform diverse ultrasound examinations, complete structured worksheets and share preliminary findings with radiologists.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years’ experience, strong patient communication, and ASAR accreditation or eligibility, working as an independent practitioner in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification clinical experience as a Sonographer.
• Current or recent hands-on scanning, within the last 12 months.
• Able to scan independently without direct supervision.
• Able to complete structured ultrasound worksheets.
• Provide preliminary findings to the reporting radiologist.
• ASAR accreditation or eligibility to obtain ASAR accreditation.
• ASAR-recognised sonography qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of ultrasound examinations across general, obstetric, MSK and vascular.
• Complete your own structured worksheets for each examination.
• Provide preliminary findings to the reporting radiologist.
• Work as an independent practitioner within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
• Manage a varied daily caseload with quality patient care.
