Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a proactive Software Engineer to join the Joint Systems Capability team in Brisbane. You will contribute to the Wakulda Air Battle Management System, collaborating with engineers to develop, integrate, test and verify software in a demanding environment.

This early-career role focuses on delivering reliable software solutions, adhering to lifecycle processes, and supporting complex technical programs for national defence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in complex technical development and integration projects.
• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket or Jenkins and strong documentation practices.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry standards.
• Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate risks and ensure quality.
