Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects (CPP) is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team, with travel to sites across Queensland. You’ll coordinate between design and site delivery, drive quality activities and support the Project Manager across early design through to close-out on HV substations, wind, and BESS projects.

You’ll gain exposure across the project lifecycle, work closely with design, construction and project teams, and build strong relationships with clients and suppliers while

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering with project delivery experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering designs and translate to site activities.
• Strong attention to quality documentation and reporting.
• Confident communication with clients, engineers, suppliers and site teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between design and site teams to ensure construction meets design specs and client requirements.
• Raise and coordinate information requests, resolve technical queries and keep work progressing.
• Manage quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, checklists and sign-offs.
• Support project scheduling, progress reporting, cost forecasting and commercial notices.
• Assist with procurement, supplier and subcontractor coordination.
• Attend site inspections and interface meetings, building relationships with clients and delivery teams.
• Promote safe work practices and help identify delivery risks.
