Job summary

EHS Support in Brisbane is seeking an environmental scientist or engineer to deliver environmental site assessment, monitoring and remediation projects across Australia. The role blends fieldwork, data analysis and reporting, with periodic travel to regional locations as required.

You will work with senior staff on complex tasks, lead discrete work packages over time, and develop skills in regulatory frameworks and data management (R, Power BI) while engaging with clients.

Qualifications

• Degree in environmental science or engineering.
• 3–5 years in environmental consulting or related tech role.
• Experience in groundwater/soil sampling and monitoring.
• Awareness of regulatory frameworks and guidelines.
• Data management experience; R/Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver technical tasks in environmental site assessment and remediation.
• Lead field programs: groundwater/surface water monitoring and sampling.
• Analyze datasets and prepare summaries, figures, and commentary.
• Draft sections of reports and work plans.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors during field activities.
• Support project planning, scoping, scheduling and budgeting.
