Job summary

Fyfe is growing its civil and structural capability in Brisbane, creating an opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants to do more than model someone else\'s design. Reporting to the Civil Design Manager or Team Leader, you\'ll work across multiple projects, producing civil and structural designs, calculations and documentation.

This role will suit someone with hands‑on 12d experience who has been actively involved in design, not solely modelling or drafting, contributing across civil

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Structural or related discipline.
• Approximately 2–4 years of post‑graduate civil and/or structural engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience using 12d Model and active involvement in civil design.
• Demonstrated experience developing engineering solutions, calculations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Take designs from concept and calculations through to practical, constructible outcomes.
• Work across civil and structural projects.
• Build technical range across Energy & Resources, industrial and infrastructure work.
• Produce civil and structural designs, calculations and documentation across multiple projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and drafters to create accurate, well‑documented drawings.
• Liaise with clients, councils and contractors in design meetings and site inspections.
