Job summary

Vivid Recruitment, on behalf of a national consultancy, seeks a Senior Fire Protection Engineer in Brisbane. Lead fire protection projects from concept to completion, ensuring codes and client requirements are met.

You will perform site assessments, evaluate risks, and work with contractors, architects and regulators to integrate fire safety into designs. You will mentor junior engineers and act as the primary client contact.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years local experience required.
• Permanent work rights in Australia.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee fire protection engineering projects.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate risks against codes to mitigate hazards.
• Collaborate with contractors, architects and regulators to integrate fire safety into designs.
