Civil Inspectors - Structures are sought for Brisbane and greater QLD. The role covers inspection of bridges, gantries, drainage structures, and fabricated steel products with QA focus. Candidates should have extensive experience in bridge construction and adherence to standards.

The position involves field inspections, detailed reporting, and interaction with engineers. Applicants must be able to travel to sites, with a nominal 40-hour week, and may have occasional weekend work as project

Formación

• Minimum 5 years' practical experience in bridge construction and maintenance.
• Experience with quality assurance processes for bridge structures and welding.
• Familiarity with TMR policies, standards and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake inspection functions/technical audits to ensure processes and procedures are followed for bridge products.
• Identify and interpret defects, assess severity, and recommend action.
• Monitor welding procedures and report on fabrication quality and final product suitability.
• Prepare written reports and daily diaries relating to specifications and welding processes for TA mobilization.
• Communicate progress and issues to Principal, Contract Administrator and Senior Engineers.
• Assist in developing inspection and reporting systems and reviewing standards.
• Maintain and manage records and prepare high-quality reports for legal presentation.
• Read and interpret technical documents, standards and drawings; apply TMR policies.
• Facilitate constructive outcomes to construction issues through strong relationship skills.
