Job summary

DYNACIV Pty Ltd is seeking a Bridge Repair Labour in Innisfail, Queensland to support the repair and refurbishment of bridges and assist with surface preparation, painting, and general maintenance tasks.

This casual role offers ongoing training, access to company equipment, flexible work arrangements, and potential career progression within the growing organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a labourer or in a construction role, preferably with bridge maintenance or coating exposure.
• Minimum 6 months bridge maintenance or coating experience.
• 1–2 years of construction or labouring experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must have Australian work rights and a valid white card (can be obtained before start).

Job description

DYNACIV Pty Ltd is seeking Bridge Repair Labour to join our team in Innisfail, Queensland. As a member of our dedicated trades and services crew, you will play a role in maintaining and upgrading critical infrastructure within the local region.

This is a casual role with a minimum of 6 months employment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting with the repair and refurbishment of bridges, including surface preparation, painting, and general maintenance tasks
• Safely operating a variety of hand and power tools to complete job requirements
• Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and quality standards
• Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure efficient and coordinated project delivery
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a labourer or construction role, preferably with exposure to bridge maintenance or coating work
• Minimum 6 months of bridge maintenance or coating experience required
• A minimum of 1-2 years of construction or labouring experience is required
• Work within the rail industry (preferred but not madatory)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks for extended periods
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to workplace safety
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must have Australian work rights
• Must hold a valid white card certification
• White card certification can be obtained before start date if not currently held
