Job summary

MWL Bride on the Gold Coast seeks a skilled Textile, Clothing and Footwear Mechanic to support the operation, set-up and maintenance of sewing and textile machinery used in our bridal garment production environment.

Responsibilities include setting up and configuring machines, diagnosing faults and performing routine maintenance to ensure production runs smoothly and to high quality standards for made-to-order bridal gowns.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or equivalent technical training in textile machinery or related field.
• Experience setting up, adjusting, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial sewing machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and maintain industrial sewing machines and other textile machinery used in garment production.
• Configure machine controls and guides to suit production requirements.
• Diagnose faults and perform routine maintenance to keep machinery safe and reliable.
• Work with production team to prepare machinery for quality bridal garments.
